The School Library Association of Victoria wanted to move away from the standard book cover for their latest publication ‘Open The Door to Inquiry’.

So we developed a dust jacket which doubled as a poster that displayed a ‘quick guide’ to the book’s key themes.

The dust jacket/poster required the design of cartoon characters that reflected the book’s themes. We take the time to explore every project’s theme in full.

Created for people who value quality fine foods produced locally and the natural health benefits of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sleeping Giant Olives required a brand identity to reflect fineness, well being and the natural environment.

As a new company, the selection of the Olive Oil bottle, logo, label design, stationary and e-commerce website were all necessary components of the brand identity package.

Customers are given the luxury of buying products online through the e-commerce website, which catalogues all Sleeping Giant products making purchasing a breeze.

This journey of exploration would take the visual form of a wall calendar, to be distributed among secondary schools throughout Victoria.

The calendar’s key conept was “Re-imagining. A World of Learning”. With the shift into an increasingly electronic world, our response was ‘Pixel Art’.

Our team of 5 designers created the giant half A0 size, month-by-month journey of discovery, through web 2.0, learning communities, wikis, blogs and action learning.
